Welcome to Nevada CASA Association

We exist to support, strengthen, and promote Nevada CASA programs and to advocate for effective public policy for children in the child welfare system.

Nevada CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) works in partnership with the National CASA Association to support and enhance the activities of its eight network programs:

  • Carson City (Carson City/Storey County)
  • Clark County (Las Vegas/Henderson)
  • Churchill County (Fallon)
  • Elko County (Elko/Wells/West Wendover)
  • Douglas County (Minden/Gardnerville)
  • Lyon County (Dayton/Fernley/Silver Springs/Yerington)
  • Nye and Esmeralda Counties (Pahrump/Tonopah/Goldfield/Beatty)
  • Washoe County (Reno/Sparks).

The state office provides local programs technical assistance and guidance with board recruitment, training, and development; fundraising; and the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers who will be the voice of abused and/or neglected children and always ready to advocate for their best interests. The ultimate goal of CASA is to ensure that every abused and neglected child in Nevada is placed in a safe, loving, and permanent home with the opportunity to thrive.
